We did it! We ROCKED the stage today at the 30th Annual FIA India Independence Day Parade & Festival in Madison Square Park with a remix medley of "Aloo Chaat", "Hadippa" and "Salaam Namaste", in honor of Grand Marshall Preity Zinta. Thanks to all our students and community who came out to support and cheer us on! I am now officially EXHAUSTED and need a good chair massage! Wait, FEET too, especially! I need a break...WAIT! I am teaching Advanced Beginner classes tomorrow night with Bollywood...

2 Days to Preity!

Phew! Putting in over 8 hours of rehearsals this week for my performance with Bollywood Funk NYC at the 30th Annual FIA India Day Parade & Festival on Sunday at Madison Square Park. Last week I was just as with practices for our show at Peridance. Made a new warm-up playlist last night for my Advanced Beginner classes tomorrow with Bollywood Funk NYC Dance School, whoohoo! Our August session JUST started last night. We are doing fantabulous-FUNKY choreography to the Remix of 'Genie Rap' from the (Bollywood) movie 'Aladdin'. We've got some Funk and some Bhangra in it. There's still time to join this week! Blogmaster: Vicki I created this blog because 1) I love to write and 2) I love to talk about Bollywood. I 'stumbled' upon Bollywood over 6 years ago, and my life has never been the same since.
